Guest guest
Hi, What's a healthy coffee substitute?
Guest guest
Hi, I'm no expert, but first I'd like to say that decaf is no good substitute because instead of the cafeine it may contain substances that are more harmful than cafeine itself ... I myself am convinced that you can use chicory or coffee made of burned acorns ... I hope this may be of use to you Denise, Belgium
Guest guest
You can substute coffee with a drink from Maharishi Ayurveda catalog calledRaja's Cup. It's a flavor rich drink that was originally made for the kings of ancient India. I've used it and I think it's great. It's alittle spendy, however, if you don't use much or drink too much it's worth it.
Guest guest
hi Jai yeah that's probably too much coffee its a kind of drug, and in the amounts ur drinking it will have adverse effects upon digestion i suggest limiting yourself to one coffee a day, after meals, preferably organic, dark roasted (less caffeine), and small volumes inotherwords something like traditional espresso or turkish coffee, not the drip/percolated, which has the highest amount of caffeine and check this out: http://www.toddcaldecott.com/caffeine.html > I thought it might be because of my excessive coffee drinking > (5-6 cups a day). > > Coffee helps in fat loss.. thats a great news.. probably, I will try > cutting down to max 2 cups as per the advice of some members... Guest guest
To reduce to 1 cup a day is a good idea, but always remember the Prakriti Stamya. To me, knowing a bit about addiction, I would say it is better to reduce little by little as to not traumatise the body and mind. It is always to go slowly but surely.
