Intelligence quotient tests were conducted at the outset of the study, and again after three months. Results indicated that children who took the Centella tablet showed significant improvements in co-operation, memory, concentration, attention, vocabulary and social adjustment (Appa Rao 1973)." other studies on the other plants are mostly experimental animal studies but I use them with success, along with others such as Reishi (Ganoderma spp), Milky Oats (Avena sativa), Skullcap (Scutellaria lateriflora) etc... esp. important is increasing protein content in diet and decreasing refined CHOs which cause a rebound hypoglycemia that provokes alterations in behaviour, concentration and aptitude other things include a good vitamin-mineral complex, B complex specifically, and omega 3 fatty acids (derived from fish oil) nasya with brahmi, vacha ghritam, abhyanga etc. Caldecott, Cl.H., AHG Clinical Herbalist Wild Rose Clinic ******************************************* of Clinical Herbal Studies Wild Rose College of Natural Healing ******************************************* 400 - 1228 Kensington Rd.
