I would like to ask if there is any trustable resource online / book where I

could find detailed information about chakras from the point of view of Ayurveda

and/or traditional point of views.

A number of Pranayama and meditation techniques to energise a

particular chakra or all at a time are discussed in

AdvancedYogaTechniques -group messages.

 

There are many more books/sites where chakras are discussed. With

Pranayama and other breathing techniques, one can feel them gradually

as mind gets more and more concentrated in meditation. Since ayurveda

deals with mostly macro medicines which act on the body, chakras

enter only through Yoga and Pranayama techniques. However, massage,

foamentation techniques recommended in Ayurveda indirectly affect

chakras. This could form an excellent research topic. The subject of

obtaining cure through Pranayama energising particular chakras is a

very hot topic these days, due to several successful experiments

exhibited, notably by Ramdev Maharaj of Haridwar, Northern India. Not

a single drop of medicine is needed to cure diabetes, cardiac

problems incl. blockages of arteries, renal failures, epilespsy.

Thousands are receiving training for Pranayama techniques. If

medicine practitioners pay adequate attention to these and bring them

to practically workable form for everyone around the world, we may

have revolution in the field of medicine. The word medicine itself

may disappear from dictionary.

 

I myself have used Panch Gavya therapy and pranayama techniques on a

Parkinson patient and results crossed the expectation by several

hundred percent. The chakras appear to store several mysteries,

which all of us have to unravel with humbleness, mutual trust and co-

operation.
