otherwise vegetarianism wasn't a philosophy per se

i believe in this context arya simply means "noble"

 

it is a term used extensively in pali buddhist literature and shouldn't

be confused with race

 

in much the same way, the svastika is an important symbol for almost

all asian peoples and has nothing to do with the nazis
