Guest guest
Hi! I have asked this before and now I am asking again. Do you know any ayur-vedic book that I can read about manic depressivness and how it is "diagnosed" when it comes to vata, pitta and kapha and what kind of recommendations there is to get in balance when it comes to this. Thank you very much for taking your time to answering this question! Have a nice day! Lunda in Sweden
Guest guest
namaste! A general reference on Ayurveda is Ayurvedic Home Remedies by Vasant Lad; there is some discussion on depression for different doshas. Hope that helps. -yogaman ayurveda, "lunda67" <ulla31034@h...> wrote: > Hi! > > I have asked this before and now I am asking again. Guest guest
Hej, depression is caused by to much tamas and manic-state by to much rajas, if I understood things correctly. Rajas generally lead to tamas, atleast if it is not turned inwards for spiritual purposes. Most books on ayurveda explain about the gunas, sattva, rajas and tamas. For more info. you can also look at: http://www.vedanet.com/vedag.htm love and blessings Kristian Frisk --- lunda67 <ulla31034 skrev: Hi! I have asked this before and now I am asking again.
