Hello,

I am new to this group and hope to find some information about

ashwaganda. I've read a little on Indian and Tibetan ayerveda but not

a lot.

I started to take 4.5% extract ashwaganda about 2 months ago and

don't know if this is doing anything or not. I am only taking this

for a daily tonic. Should I feel anything or will it be very subtle.

If anyone could give me some information or guidance, it would be

most appreciated.

Thank you in advance,

Rick

Namaste!

When ashwagandha from the correct source is taken, it results in a

noticeable increase in libido; it is not like garlic in its effect

but is very sattwic in nature.

If you are not seeing any effects then I think that you need to take

larger doses or goto a different vendor.

The best ashwagandha that I have taken is from Kerala Ayurvedic

Pharmacies(prepared according to the traditional texts - Sahasrayogam

or Astangahridayam)- also available from www.oilbath.net- a teaspoon

of this is enough; I notice that ashwagandha powder is not as strong.
