Dear Dr. Bhate,

 

I noticed in this post that you said this person should not have garlic and milk

if they have skin diseases. Do you mean that for just this person or is garlic

bad for any skin disease? Would you please explain?

All heat producing substances like garlic and chili should be avoided

in skin disease (PItta condition)

 

Blood pressure is always benifited by clearing the blood of excess

ama this benefits kidneys and liver function and makes blood less

viscous therefore less pressure on kidneys. Avoid fried foods and

other heavy difficult to digest foods. Emphasize plenty of fruits and

vegetables. Drink plenty of water. Take digestive aids with all meals.

 

If too much heat is present then body should be cooled with cooling

herbs.
