Dear Guru Khalsa,

Milk with Garlic, Onion, Citrus fruits is an incompatible mix, causes

formation of toxins which body removes. This is especially to be

avoided in chronic skin diseases such as vitiligo, eczema, etc.

In ayurveda, many toxic substances are used after purification aimed

at reducing their toxicity. For instance, Warm milk, with half a lime juice

squeezed in and drunk empty stomach in the morning is very good aid for curing

non-bleeding piles. Many piles medications are to be taken in curd, empty

stomach, in the morning.

Milk+Garlic though good for B.P., it should not be taken if a skin

disease is also present. The body then uses skin as the route for

removing the toxins, causing additional itching.

Generally people eat lime, onion when eating non-veg food, and if one

eats ice-cream after such a meal, the incompatibility results.

Incopatible foods add to Vat dosha.

Combinations to be avoided by in all skin diseases are already

covered in Message No. 1552

Garlic bad only when combined with milk and when skin disease already

present.

garlic and milk if they have skin diseases. Do you mean that for

just this person or is garlic bad for any skin disease? Would you

please explain?
