Guest guest
After trying so many ways to make fresh and healthy soups I think I got it down to fit our hectic life. I took one of those relish trays and cut up some organic carrots, organic green beans, organic french garden sprouts, organic onion, and organic garlic minced. In a pot each day I add a handfull of all of them with 2 cups of water and a pinch of cumin, fennel, corriander, sea salt and pepper and cook till the carrots are almost soft. Whatever is left after one meal I put in the fridge for later meal or afternoon snack. It tastes really yummy too. Sometimes I add barley. I want to try some other vegetables but not sure what to try yet. I also want to try some black bean soup as that is my utmost favorate but haven't found a recipe I am happy with yet. Thanks for the push to make the fresh soups. It isn't so bad this way if I have the veggies already cut and prepared. My bowel movements have moved to 2 times a day. I want to thank all of you who helped me get started onthe path to healing and a better lifestyle for my family. It is finally taking some form.
