Guest guest
My dear Friend Krishna; We could talk on the phone if you wish, but I thought to share this strong shall I call it educated intuition for you. Knowing your challenges to help support the family, your many years devotional practices to Krsna, your not infrequent recent use of the herb marijuana, your beutiful feminine nature governed by such a strong will, your work in the ayurvedic field doing panchakarma massage and our successes with t he pregnancy pre-eclampsia, as well as your challenges with weight ... I am drawn to two deductions. There is a level of collected stress vibration in your awareness and sub- awareness creating high cortisol levels, in modern terms. 1) Cortisol, called the stress hromone, tells the body to lay down fat, among other things, and keeps us in fight or flight, an acidic state if I'm not mistaken. 2) The queenly side of your nature needs to experience more transcending to keep up your responsibilities. The Indian saying , if the goat is not carrying the load correctly then we need to lighten the load or strengthen the goat The will easily keeps us from transcending through the layers of our awareness, so the discussion might well begin with these things. My first instinct for you was 3 shirodaras over 3 weeks. It is amazing medicine to remind us how many layers we have within ourselves, and how to relax into the subtler, gentler, more integrated and yes more effortlessly powerful and effective cortisol reducing self-referral style of functionig we are blessed to have been given. Please look without preconception for a few minutes at all your lifestyle and practices and ask yourself, is there strain here? There are alkalyzing products, herbs and other patchwork, and I am all for using what helps along the way, but I beleive this is what you are calling for most. Also, I know of your Kartik kitchari fast, is this still going? Maybe it is a strain and you would then need more consistently the green succulent and leafy vegetables in your diet? Love and Blessings, Martha
Guest guest
Hi Martha. THanks for the great advice. Shirodhara would be great. I'll talk to Rasatala about it when he returns from India in 3 weeks. I think I could arrange something. Definite stress levels are high. Financial, kids, marriage, life struggles........ so many things that affect my equilibrium daily. Any suggestions? I try my best to stay calm with it all, it's very hard for me. I'm so pitta. The weight isn't such a biggy for me, but it's there in my mind somewhere that i'd like to lose and go back to pre-pregnancy weight. The thyroid needs THYROMIN (can I use Thyromin to cover my Young Living $50 minimum order instead of oils each month?). Any oils you would recommend for me to cope with stress? I'm using some peace & calming at night, and lavendar occassionally when I remember. Yes, I'm on kitchari fast, have been having some veggies with kitchari to support my nursing. I'm into week 2 now, and I feel much lighter and better for it. Though tired and stress is higher for some reason. Anyway, i'd be happy to talk with you when you get a moment if you can call me when it's right timing for you, i'm home. Love ya Krishna
