There are a lot of conversion tables on > the net. > 3 grams is 1/4 oz. which equals 1/2 tablespoon which > is 1 1/2 teaspoons. not necessarily as i pointed out the issue is mass to volume: they are different things for e.g. 1 tsp of lead shots is going to weigh a lot more than 1 tsp of water more subtly, one tsp of cut and sifted herb is going to weigh less than one tsp of the finely powdered herb doses for powdered herbs should be given according to weight, liquids according to volume fortunately we are dealing with herbs, which have a large therapeutic window and are forgiving btw, the advantage of metric over the old english measurements is that when you work in units of the math is easier, and the equivalencies are standardized e.g. 1 g (weight) of water is exactly 1 mL (volume) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
