Inflammation of the breast called in ayurveda as

"Stana shotha"(Mastitis).

There are several causes giving rise to this

condition.

According to ayurveda Pitta is the main dosha

involved here.

Ayrveda offers Some effective and safe remedies.

Among them, i would like to mention one reputed

remedy here,it is like this.

1) Root of the Kumari( aloe vera)to be pounded, and

make paste adding little water.

Later add sufficient quantity of Haridra

powder(Turmeric powder).Gently warm this

paste by keeing it in a vessel.Apply this warmed

paste over the breast, and cover and

tie with a piece of cloth, remove after 15 to 20

minutes .Repeat this procedure

2 to 3 times daily for 7 days or till the

inflamation subsides completely.

2) In addition to the above, take internally "AMRUTADI

GUGGULU" 2 tab 3 times/day for

3 weeks to achieve best recovery.
