Guest guest
Dear All, Please note down the following publication by British Ayurvedic Medical Council (BAMC) authorized by Dr Govardhan, Jaipur Thank You. DR NILESH WAKDE BAMS(INDIA),MSc(UK),ABAMC (LONDON) Ayurvedic Physician & Lecturer Thames Valley University, London & Manipal Ayurvedic University of Europe 117, Eastcote Avenue, Greenford, Middlesex, London UB6 0NQ UK Phone 0044-7841583452 SUBJECT - BAMC - Registration British Ayurvedic Medical Council Office in India I have just returned from a trip to London. I am pleased to advise you that I have been appointed as the Indian representative for the British Ayurvedic Medical Council (BAMC). The BAMC is supported by the Ayurvedic Company of Great Britain (ACGB), the Manipal Ayurvedic University of Europe (MAYUR) and the Ayurvedic Charitable Hospital (ACH) which have done tremendous work. The BAMC was the only organisation to fight very hard for the sake of Indian BAMS doctors like you and me for recognition in the UK against people who have hardly studied for less than 6 months who claim to be Ayurvedic practitioners. Also Indian Ayurvedic companies have been supported and promoted by TAPASI a subsidiary of The British Ayurvedic Medical Council (BAMC), against foreign manufacturers of false Ayurvedic products. The BAMC also worked very hard to ensure that the minimum qualifications for Ayurvedic practitioners should be at least a university degree from a recognised university. Even now there are organisations like the Ayurvedic Medical Association (AMA) and the Ayurvedic Practitioners Association (APA) who have joined the European Herbal Practitioners Association (EHPA) who are trying to dilute Ayurveda and promote untrained Ayurvedic practitioners. Please be very careful of giving such people i.e. APA or AMA any information or support. All Indian Ayurvedic doctors are welcome to join the BAMC as you are all qualified to do so. This may help you in the future if you decide to visit the UK or need contacts and information there. If you want to apply please write directly to the British Ayurvedic Medical Council, 81 Wimpole Street, London, W1G 9RF, with your name, address, date of birth, your qualifications and experience in the form of a CV. There is no joining fee for Indian doctors.
