Guest guest
Dear Members, Creating a group under the name of ayurveda a good thing, but the doctor who is treating under ayurveda is good. There is no approach to the general public on behalf of ayurvedic doctor, becuase the doctors are facing much hard ship in their lifes due to lack of practice. The public also not having knowledge regarding the curability with ayurveda,as the allopathic medicine giving instant relief and the ayurvedic doctors are not concentrating on this aspect. Further of my knowledge the father of ayurveda is "DHANWANTARI".He already created a medicine for improving of resistanse power in human body wether there is any medicine available with quick relief as an allopathy drug do. Note: If a doctor takes care regarding the taste of the drug or keeping the same in a capsule, because most of the people will not be dare enough in using the ayurvedic medicine as the said medicine will give hard taste while using it. I hope and wish a long good days for the ayurveda and if the doctors will give a medicine with a quick and permenant relief. Most of the indians are facing with problems like Diabetes Allergies Gastric disturbences Sinusitis Not getting the nutritious diet. For all these things, there are good medicines in ayurveda ,but lack of advertisement and educating the people is there, due to which the people are using allopathy medicine for every illness. I hope it is also a duty of the ayurvedic doctor to serve the people Further i hope after receiving this message your group will try to plan to establish a weekly edition awaring the general public by which the ayurvedic doctor will also improve his practice. IF ANYBODY'S FEELINGS WERE HURTED BY READING THIS MESSAGE PLEASE EXCUSE ME. BUT MY INTENTION IS TO DEVELOP AYURVEDA AWARENESS IN GENERAL. Guest guest
Dear Konduru ji, Namaste. You touched upon the following points in your mail; 1. Need for good ayurveds. 2. Need for easy intake of ayurvedic medicines. 3. Need for fast relief. 4. Need for educating people about ayurvedic principles. 5. Need to create awareness about the side effects of allopathic practices. I second all your proposals. However I'm not very sure about points 2 and 3. Ayurvedic medicines are best taken fresh and in combination with the vehicle i.e. honey, milk, water etc. Therefore to obtain best results the patient should check the date of manufacture in prepared medicines and also be willing to grind the medicines in the pestle with the vehicle if required. The patients should also try to know the medicinal properties of easily available herbs, fruits, vegetables and also spices. The patient is also responsible for curing his ailment as much as he is responsible for maintaining good health. He should realise that his health is not only his own property, but also the property of his family, society, nation and the world. He should not complain about not getting enough time to take care of his own health. This is unacceptable. Regarding fast relief, this may not be always possible in today's society where suppressed ailments and chemically induced diseases are rampant. Often these layers of artificially induced diseases have to be properly tackled before the inherent dis-ease can be addressed. To get over this problem we must ensure that the current generation gets treated with PURE ayurveda from very early age. There are plenty of good books and magazines available in the market to educate the parents. The children must also be taught the principles of ayurveda just as the principles, if there are any, of modern medicine is taught to them in schools. They shoould realise the importance of conservation of energy to promote the prana shakti so that their immune system can tackle any disease. Teaching children yoga and basic pranayama (without the kumbhaka) is essential. As Swami Ramdev has recently pointed out, all the above is the responsibility of the State. But secular India is afraid of both ayurveda and yoga because it may end up promoting Hinduism. This approach is a political approach and should be opposed. The ayurved has no fight against unani or siddha systems nor against homeopaths so long as the system is holistic in nature and does not result in damaging the physical, mental, emotional, moral and spiritual health of the population of the world. Contrary to modern "science", Indian tradition has always regarded life to be the most important asset on earth. The goal has always been to create good individuals who are capable of renunciating their selfish interests and sacrificing their lives for the benefit of fellow "humane" beings. Regards, Jagannath.
