Guest guest
Dear Dr Venu Gopal, Vaidyas or ayrvedic doctors are only as great as the quality of the herbs they use. Thanks for bringing out a subject very little discussed in this forum. Declining quality of the formulations due to mechanised manufacturing is already causing frustration. But more important is the declining medicine in the herbs due to excessive demand, exploitation, deforestation and herb species going "rarely found" as a result. This was the agony which forced to write on ayurvedic farming. Vaidyas have to become farmers in addition to pharmacist in future, at least for more widely used herbs. Regards Dr Bhate ayurveda, "Dr. Venu Gopal M.D \(Ayurveda\)" <dr_venug> wrote: > This kind of practice and the clinical failure due to commercialise production ultimately reflecting on the efficiency of the physician and the faith on ayurved mean while. You can't appriciate the total desired effects of the medicine which are described in the texts of acharyas, from the companies, and in turn there would be some un wanted efeects also may be faced.
