Guest guest
Dear Mr. Kumar, Absolutely, there are many remedies in Ayurveda for your problems. Putrid smelling sweat and anger are symptoms of a Pitta or heat imbalance in your body. We hold heat and heat-related emotions like anger in our liver. Please see post #5033 and read about Pitta dosha. You will find there suggestions of foods/beverages/spices that you can take to bring relief. You will also read about what foods to avoid. Above all, spicy foods, alcohol, tobbaco and coffee should be avoided. It is always best to consult with an Ayurvedic doctor for diagnosis. If there is one nearby, it is in your best interest to have a consultation. You can take aloe vera (Kumari Saar) juice, 1 tablespoon dissolved in one cup room- temperature spring water three times a day -first thing in the morning, noon/lunch time and once in the evening. This will cleanse your liver of toxins and by doing so, will cleanse the anger that is being held there. If you see an Ayurvedic doctor, he or she will be able to prescribe other herbs that are more potent to clean the liver and blood. It is difficult to prescribe these powerful herbs over the net without seeing you face to face. Brahmi is a good herb for your condition, as it helps to calm the liver, cool/calm the mind, and cleanse the blood. It will help you with the stress and anger. If you are in India, you can find Brahmi tablets at any pharmacy. Usually 1 tablet three times a day is good. For the constipation, take triphala churna, one teaspoon dissolved in warm water before bedtime or as needed. Proper and regular excercise like Yoga Asana will be of great help to you as well. It will help you to relax your mind and body so that your body's own healing process can take place. If the root cause of your anger is with one person, then the most logical thing to do to get rid of the anger is to have forgiveness, understanding and compasion for this person and for you too. Forgive yourself for being angry, and let it go. This is much more difficult to do than taking herbs. However, if you can come to some understanding with this person, and let go of the issue that is making you angry, you will find that you will feel better almost instantly. I wish you good health. Guest guest
dear ranga ratan kumar the smell is likely the result of two components: the general health and status of your body, and the organisms that live on your body and metabolize the secretions of your skin to create the smell - thus measures should be taken to control both looking at the internal component, the smell is most likely related to a pitta imbalance, and thus measures should be taken to control pitta by avoiding pungent foods, and specifically, taking measures to detoxify the skin, blood and liver a mild-flavored vegetarian-type diet, with lots of leafy green vegetables, dahl, whole-grain rice and other grains etc can be employed - if required, a little poultry can be eaten - avoid coffee/tea, garlic, hing, eggs, red meat, chili, black pepper and other spicy flavors, and because of the constipation avoid flour products (bread, roti, pastries, sweets) and milk products general detoxifying herbs such as triphala, bhunimba and haridra can be taken regularly to purify the skin, blood and liver - if constipated combine the above herbs with trivrit and a little ginger, and take 3-5 g of the powders mixed with water, twice daily - with this, you can also take isabgol, 1 tbsp mixed with water after breakfast - but make sure you then drink at least 8 large glasses of water throughout the day - if available, you might also take a probiotic supplement (acidophilus/bifidus) to help correct the gut ecology in regard to the topical component, you might begin with shaving your armpit hair - sometime the bacteria can be seen to live in large colonies at the base of these hairs, and shaving is the quickest way to get rid of them, albeit temporarily before a daily bath, you can apply an oil such as sesame oil infused with essential oils such as dhanya (coriander) (3-5% v/v), which has a very strong antimicrobial activity - massage this oil all over you body and especially in the armpits and groin areas - allow to sit for 10 minutes or so, and then wash this off with water and chana powder afterward the bath you can dust your body and especially the armpits and groin with powders of herbs such as ushira (khas), nagakeshara (nagkesar) and chandana (sandalwood) - if its really hot, you can combine these with a talc powder to help absorb the excess moisture begin and end your day with a prayer, giving thanks for each day and the blessings of this earth, and 10 minutes of silent meditation on the breath blessings... todd caldecott
