Guest guest
Dear friends Instead of drugs or surgical procedures, attention of research is now focussed on Yoga in west. You may read an interesting study which concludes that yoga may be better for chronic back pain rather than conventional exercises. http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/520135
Guest guest
Dear Bhanuji, Namaskar. Thank you for pointing out the attention of scientists on yoga, whose benefits cannot be challenged. We have seen miracle recoveries through yoga and pranayama. In a recent newspaper report, it has been pointed out how major private hospitals are setting up yoga centres. This is in addition to employing ayurveds and homeopaths. They can sense that people flocking to these methods will result in loss of business and hence are acting defensively. How much sincerety they have in their approach remains to be seen. In a major hospital in Delhi, the "Integrated Medicine Centre" is at the basement alongside the security room as pointed out by a Delhi resident. A mainstream doctor took great pains to convince me that "yoga is not ayurveda". Recently I also saw a book in a bookshop bearing the title, "Yoga and Allopathy".
