Sri:mathe: Ramanujaya namaha!!

 

Bhagavad Ramanuja’s other names:

 

Periyaperumal (SriRangana:tha) gave the title of

‘Udaiyavar’ to Ramanuja observing his esteemed jna:na

and  anushta:nam crowning him for both the vibhu:this

– the leela:vibhuthi and the nithya vibhu:thi.

 

Lakshmanamuni,  Ilaiyalwar, Ramanuja, Embaruma:na:r,

Yathira:ja, Pancha:cha:ryapada:srayulu and

Sri:bha:shyakar.

 

Bhagavad Ramanuja had 12 thousand e:ka:nthis, 74

established a:cha:ryapurushas and the jeeyars were

700, in addition to innumerable disciples.

 

Bhagavad Ramanuja blessed the world with these works –

1. Sri:bha:shyam

2. Ve:da:nthasa:ram

3. Ve:da:ntha deepam

4. Ve:da:ntha Sangraham

5. Sarana:gathi gadya

6. Sri:vaikuntta gadya

7. Sri:ranga gadya

8. Gi:tha:bha:shyam

9. Nithyagranttham

 

He lived and spent  sixty years of his life serving

Lord Sri:rangana:tha in Srirangam. In his last days on

this earth, he gifted his disciples 74 guiding

principles and attained the divine abode in  the year

1137 at the age of 120 years.
