Dear Erica,

Well yes ayurveda does have a branch dealiing specifically with

animals. However it is not in much practise today and I doubt if you

could find a genuine practioner in this field. There have been

reports of indiviual attempts but they have been very few and

undocumented. There are some books available on the same. A general

trend among some experienced vaidyas has been to treat animals using

the same principles as those used on humans except for altering the

dosage and method of medication.

Lets hope some member of this group would be able to throw more light

on the subject.
