Guest guest
I lost 7kg in one year by applying kapha reducing diet without limiting quantities much, going toward raw semiveg food and abolishing almost totally refned sugar, this not abruptly but month by month reducing kapha aggravating food. It helped with my allergies as well, I don't suffer from it anymore. Guest guest
We talk in generalities, not in specifics, so it is difficult to judge the regimen. 1. We have no idea if your predominant dosha is kapha or a combination of kapha / pitta, or kapha/ vata or tridoshic. 2. We also do not know your weight, or other problems. 3. Going by your statements alone, you seem to be doing well on whatever is implied by semi-veg diet. I have no idea what that term implies and how much of it is veg and how much is "semi" and what is considered "semi". These are personal definitions. 4. Ayurveda prescribes cooked food and "raw" vegetables are not necessarily "ayurvedic", although our entire society seems to have developed this knee-jerk acceptance of raw vegetables. And you may be right, but I am not sure if Ayurveda prescribes uncooked food. However, if one goes by results alone, and you have cleared your allergies and have also lost weight in the bargain, or vice versa, lost weight and got rid of the allergies in the bargain, good. Keep up the good work. You might benefit from exercise too, unless you are already doing it, but have not mentioned it.
