Guest guest
Dear Cybervaidya, Thank you for the information. Could you please tell me the English definition of the terms "kshudra" and "anubandha". Also I have found various recipes for Anu Taila in Charak, Susrut and Vagbhatta, which is commonly used in modern day Ayurveda? When they speak of using the ash of elephant tooth, does that refer to the actual tooth or the tusks?
Guest guest
1) Kshudra literally means insignificant. It is used to denote diseases which are minor in nature. 2) Anubandha means association. If company "A" takes the help of company "B" to produce a product "c" then A will be pradhan karan (main cause), B will be anubandha and c will be karya (disease in this case). If supposing "A" takes the help of "D" at a different time then also A will be pradhan karan but D will be anubandha. I hope you get all this. It is very difficult to explain. 3) Different people use different references of anu tail as per their need. There is no one reference which is followed everywhere. 4) For Hasti-danth Mashi (ash of elephant tooth), the tusks are used. Cybervaidya.
