Guest guest
Dear Cybervaidya, Thank you very much for your advice. I use ginger, garlic, and the other spices very often in my cooking. It has become very difficult to get to see Dr. Lad in the last few years. Perhaps I should try again. I no longer live in Albuquerque and would have to fly there in order to visit Dr. Lad. B.L. Guest guest
Dear B.L, Well if you already are having spices in your food you will need to go in for medication for your problem. It really is difficult and not advisable to prescribe medication in this manner, but I can suggest some simple medicines which you can try. Are ayurvedic medicines available at the place where you stay. If combinations are available the you can try "Hingastak" or "Lavan Bhaskar" both of which are in powder form. The dosage would be 1/4 of a gram 15 minutes before meals or you can have "Shankha Vati" - 2 tabs of 250 mg each 15 minutes before meals. By the way do you use warm water for drinking. That also helps a lot. If any of the above medications are available well and good. Otherwise I can give you a list of the individual contents which i think should be available at any herbal shop. You can then make up the combination yourself. Cybervaidya.
