Guest guest
Hi Friends, Happy belated Ganesh Chathurthi wishes.I would celebrate this festival very grandly with my parents and on this day I get opportunity to touch the feet of my parents and take blessings. This day of Ganesh chathurthi is unlucky for me.Bcoz Im out of India. So I have visited Ganesh temple and offered prayers(somewhere in UK).Im still unhappy bcoz I never missed any festival with my parents and also I couldnt worship him. So on this day i hv taken small meal and went starved for few hours and Iam examining Ganesh Navarathri(9 day worship). Is there any more ways to celebrate grandly on these 9 days? Regards, Ravi. Guest guest
Why not visit some elderly living alone in your locality. athreya On 9/9/05, divineindianguy27 <divineindianguy27 wrote: > Hi Friends, > Happy belated Ganesh Chathurthi wishes.I would celebrate > this festival very grandly with my parents and on this day I get > opportunity to touch the feet of my parents and take blessings. This day > of Ganesh chathurthi is unlucky for me.Bcoz Im out of India. So I have > visited Ganesh temple and offered prayers(somewhere in UK).Im still > unhappy bcoz I never missed any festival with my parents and also I > couldnt worship him. > > So on this day i hv taken small meal and went starved for few hours and > Iam examining Ganesh Navarathri(9 day worship). Guest guest
Doctor Saab has made a wonderful suggestion, I guess it applies to all of us. at least some part of our celebration has to be sharing and giving to the needy, which will bring happiness to people who need it and this way Lord Ganesh will become happy. Because we are all part of the lord and we need to share the happiness. Om ganeshaya namaha, Om namah shivaya. Guest guest
Sh.Ravi, Lord Ganesh is being worshipped on Ganseh Chaturdhi by one and all. Lord Ganesh can be worshipped all times and all days immaterial of day, week or Thithi. The mantra appended below may be chanted for good and getting "Mano vikas". I request you to get this mantra taught by an elderly person or parents or Guru on whom you have more faith and love. Chanting any mantra after Upadesh (Taught by Guru etcetera)shall yield best results. "GUM GANAPATHAYEH NAMAH" This Mantra shall be chanted for 60,000 times to realise the best effects of it. May Lord Ganesh bless you, AUM Namah Shivaya --- In , "Doctor.BalaKrishnaMurthy Ramaraju,BS,MBBS,MS,FRCS,GERON" <dr.ramaraju.balakrishnamurthy@g...> wrote: > Why not visit some elderly living alone in your locality. > athreya > > On 9/9/05, divineindianguy27 <divineindianguy27> wrote: > > Hi Friends, > > Happy belated Ganesh Chathurthi wishes.I would celebrate > > this festival very grandly with my parents and on this day I get > > opportunity to touch the feet of my parents and take blessings. This day > > of Ganesh chathurthi is unlucky for me.Bcoz Im out of India. So I have > > visited Ganesh temple and offered prayers(somewhere in UK).Im still > > unhappy bcoz I never missed any festival with my parents and also I > > couldnt worship him. > > > > So on this day i hv taken small meal and went starved for few hours and > > Iam examining Ganesh Navarathri(9 day worship).
