Guest guest
Dear JC: I am happy to see your query and I am happy that you have already picked up on the clue I gave from Jyotisa. There is something called Wisdom and there is something called Knowledge. Wisdom is related to Guru/Jupiter. Knowledge/intellect is related to Budha/Mercury. You must have heard the saying "Knowledge speaks, Wisdom listens". What does this mean? This means that real gyaana only emerges forth only when the kaama is burnt through the agni of Siva (3rd eye). In other word the sadhak "realizes" the wisdom that flows out of the Agya/Ajna chakra. It is at this chakra where the triven sangam of yamuna/ida, ganga/pingala and saraswati/sushumna take place. In other words mountains become mountains again, rivers become rivers again, oceans become oceans again. Yes, Knowledge+Realization is equal to Wisdom. Whatever one has learnt and one grasps is all borrowed. Is it not? Is something our very own? Yes, the one that is our very own is symbolic of Gyaana. In Jyotish Shastra Dhanur and Meenam are related Guru/Wisdom. Dhanur is Guru Bhava and Meenam is the 12th bhava (4th from 9th) - house of Gurus. In the house of Gurus viz. Meenam Rasi there can be no room/space for intellect/knowledge (mercury debilitates there). In other words the padma blooms from the karmic muck for the first time accumulated over several lives. Mauna is wisdom.
