2. DHYAN MUDRA

 

Hold Gyana

Mudra in the lap and right palm shall be placed over the left palm.

 

· Assures peace and tranquility;

· Enhances the power of concentration;

· Brings down the depression to null; and

· Quickly elevates to Turiya

Avastha.

 

3.

AHANKARA MUDRA:

 

The tip of Angustha (Thumb) shall be brought to the first knuckle of the Tarjani

(Index Finger) and rest all are as in Chin Mudra.

 

This Mudra bestows;

· Promotes Self confidence;

· Reduces timidity and fear;

· Brings in assertiveness; and

· Corrects introvert attitude.

BUDDHI MUDRA

 

The tips of Tarjanis (Index Finger) of both the hands are

brought to the base of the respective Angusthas (Thumb) as in Gyan mudra. Rest

of all fingers shall be kept straight and shall be in touch with the backs of

the respective fingers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This Mudra bequeaths

sleep by calming down the mind. It also keeps the Spiritual energy in balance with ego.

AUM MUDRA

 

This is similar to Buddhi Mudra with the difference that back of all fingers

(Middle, Ring, and Little fingers) gently touches with each other without

application of any force.

 

This Mudra maintains steady flow of

prana through the entire body and keeps mind cool. It brings complete peace to

the mind, which helps in daily life as well as in meditation.

 

6.

PRITHVI MUDRA

 

This Mudra is similar to

Aum Mudra, except that palms of the both hands turned down. That is entire Mudra

shall point towards earth.

 

· This Mudra confers stability and controls the wavering feelings or

restless nature of the mind by increasing the levels of tolerance and patience.

· Regulates body equilibrium.

· Takes away the physical weakness.

 

7.

ABHAY MUDRA

 

Both the hands rose straight along side of head followed by making

Gyan mudra. It is advised to practice this Mudra after chanting the course of Gayatri Mantra.

 

With this Mudra ones mind gains strength and courage, there by one becomes fearless.
