Guest guest
Love and respects. This is not to discouragae or criticise you. kindly note. Before searching for the RIGHT GURU, let us search deep within us, how far we are eligible/entitled to have a RIGHT GURU. Have we kept ourselves clean within us? You can pour milk if the vessel is clean, if not, the milk will go waste. Is it not? Guru will automatically come searching for the right shishya. Ramakrishna Paramahansa used to cry and weep for his shishyas. So, as we are eager to have a right guru, so also the right guru for a right shishya. Let us try to make ourselves eligible for His grace. Yes, though I am new to this group, I have seen some wonderful postings. We can learn a lot from these great souls. May God Bless Us All Always. "Who would like this $20 bill?"Hands started going up. He said, "I am going to give this $20 to one ofyou - but first, let me do this."He proceeded to crumple the 20 dollar note up. He then asked. "Who stillwants it?" Still the hands were up in the air."Well," he replied, "what if I do this?" He dropped it on theground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. I agree with you. I was also thinkingabout fake guru's, the one I had in mind lives in New York, well over 65years of age now, used to be an atlethic, and wants his followers to be also(they have to run everyday so many miles). He writes songs, paints birds, and write spirituality in a more sensational way, not very deep going atall. Devotees have to meditate on his transcendental photograph (notphotocopy). He has lots of bodyguards, and appears in the public as amuscian. he writes songs in public. (Sri Ch....)I never had in mind the genuine, God sent guru's as undermentioned. If only people could realise that whatever is happening in their life is all pre-determined and even the God may not interfere in it to change the course of life. The life is like a book (novel) already written. We are mere actors of the novel already written. Take the story of 'sudama' the closest friend of Lord Krishna. He was so poor that days together, his family could not get anything to eat. He on the other hand, was unconcerned about all this, and always throught about Lord only. Krisha too was very much aware of his poor condition, yet at no time he interfered till the time came when sudama decided to meet his old friend.
