Planetary Dasha Periods Order and Lengths

 

Everyone is born into this progression of planetary periods, and picks up the

periods at the point of birth (somewhere in the following succession of

Planetary Periods). The lenths of these periods is as follows:

 

* Sun runs for six years;

* Moon runs for ten years;

* Mars runs for seven years;

* Rahu runs for eighteen years;

* Jupiter runs for sixteen years;

* Saturn runs for nineteen years;

* Mercury runs for seventeen years;

* Ketu runs for seven years;

* Venus runs for twenty years.

 

Everyone is born somewhere into this progression. The periods will be good

or bad depending on the ruling planets position in the associated horoscope.
