Guest guest
dear richard: i have been reading the posts on "sacred objects" with great interest and have a question to ask, if i may. for many years i have studied and enjoyed the energies of gemstones and rudrakshas and thought that wearing a navratna mala of good quality was a positive thing to do. since reading about the negative effects of emerald, for instance, for certain signs or planetary influences, i'm wondering if rudraksha would override this possible negative effect from the emerald in a navratna mala. in western astrology i'm 0 degrees aries rising, scorpio sun, so have the mars influence which may contraindicate wearing emerald. my birthdate is november 8, 1945. i have tried wearing only my sphatika and rudraksha malas and feel quite naked without the navratna but do not wish to be engaging in astrologically foolish behaviour. thank you for providing such a wonderful site. your pieces are exquisite! diva devi
Guest guest
Dear Diva Devi, The Navaratna is best used by Royalty or by someone with no serious chart defects. But more importantly it MUST contain flawless gems, including Natural Pearl. There is no minimum size because QUALITY is ALL IMPORTANT. If you use all fine gems – in 2 carat sizes it will cost a small fortune. We made one for HM The Queen of Thailand using all one carat gems and it was very costly. Most of our Navaratna use fine gems in the 4-5mm size range with larger ruby or red spinel in the center. The Rudraksha is more powerful talisman than gems, and the one Rudraksha most suitable to pacify all the 9 planets is the Dos-mukhi (10 faced) from Nepal. For our Navaratna designs: http:// www.agtgems.comcatalogadvanced_search_result.phpkeywords=Navaratna&osCsid=7c9d b8325e51b0dfec8c036dccdf6a6f&x=7&y=7 If a chart has troubled planetary positions then the best choice is to wear a single gem for the most favourable planet. Donating gems for troubled planets is the best remedy. If you need "Ratna-arpana" (gem donation) info please write again. Guest guest
Hi Diva, Namaste!!! A defective planetary position in Jyotish astrology is a planet in an enemy sign located in a bad house or enemy of the lord of the Rising Sign, etc. Please send me your birth date, time & place and I'll tell you if there is any serious problem in your Sidereal chart. Best, Richard PS: I'll post a picture of the "Queen Sirikit Navaratna" tonight on the Sacred-objects Home Page. A notice will be sent. sacred-objects, "divadevi108" <divadevi108> wrote: > > sacred-objects, "Richard Shaw-Brown II" > <rsbj66> wrote: > > > > Dear Diva Devi, > > > > The Navaratna is best used by Royalty or by someone with no > serious chart defects. > > dear richard: thank you very much for your response. what is > considered to be a chart defect? my knowledge of hindu astrology is > limited to the notion that everything moves back a sign from western > astrology. i know of some aspects in my chart but don't know what is > considered a chart defect. > > the navratna mala i wear was purchased in rishikesh and is composed > of faceted gemstones, graduated in size, with the exception of the > cat's eye, pearl and coral. the stones are not large. they're > rather delicate actually, but have lovely color and clarity. it has > a very light, magical energy. > > i also wear an akarshaya siddh mala, with 2 through 14 mukhi beads. > does this meet the need for the 10-mukhi bead you mentioned, or are > you speaking of wearing a single 10-mukhi by itself? do you mind > sharing how you decided on your personal combination to wear of > the 2, 4, 13 and 14 mukhi mala? > > it would be wonderful to see a picture of the navratna mala you made > for the queen of thailand. i couldn't follow the link you posted > here for your navratna pieces so will go to your website and check > there. > > namaste, > > diva devi > > > > > > But > > more importantly it MUST contain flawless gems, including Natural > Pearl. Guest guest
dear astrobhadauria: thank you for posting about the meaning of "diva". i couldn't find "doneter" on google but am happy to note your mentioning "the first word of the sun." in 2000 i met a yogi in gangotri who calls me surya, so you've touched on a little synchrocity there. i also googled for "kannyadan" and did not find anything helpful. i am intrigued with your having 150 daughters and marrying each year. do you mind explaining further? best wishes, diva devi sacred-objects, astrobhadauria astromind <astrobhadauria> wrote: > > Shrimanji, > Parnaam, > the meaning of "Diva" is day,Secret,Wonderfull,With light,Doneter,The First word of Sun "Divakar",etc. > Ramendra Singh Bhadauria(Astrologer) > 37,Panchwati-Coloney,NBC Road, > Jaipur-302006-Rajsthan, > India > Phone-91-141-222157/33963825 > Mobile-919414386494/9214507701 > Email-ramendra_bhadauria > URL: www.astrobhadauria.com > > - > Richard Shaw-Brown II > sacred-objects > Sunday, December 04, 2005 12:22 AM > Re: navratna and rudraksha > > > Dear Diva Dasi, > > I was wondering what was the meaning of your name?
