Diva, you have Virgo rising by Jyotish...that making Mercury the most important

planet in

your life. Unfortunately, due entirely to your own karma, you have Mercury

located in an

enemy sign as well as in the 3rd house (unhappiness), BUT, also is ruler of the

10th house

(fame)...Making Mercury your 10th house lord. Your Mercury is also a benefic in

you chart.

A weakened benefic, lord of 9th can be made stronger. Results of increasing

Mercury will

be increased stability and intelligence. Strong immune system.

Your best planet is Venus as benefic in good 2nd house, owner of 9th (house

lord), and

2nd house lord (both good in own sign (even trine) meaning VERY strong. You can

well-

harness this power.

Your two worst planets are Sun and Mars, also Moon and Jupiter are your

functional

malefic... therefore - it is said that anyone with two or more exalted planets

can become

world famous, so also anyone with two debilitated planets should not use a

"serious"

precious Navaratna, unless it is set with a 10 faced (Dosmukhi) Rudraksha, in

which case

you can wear a serious Navaratna, because the Rudraksha is SOOO Powerful it will

placate

all the Nava Graha (9 planets) in your chart, so can be used with Navaratna. My

wife also

has a 10 faced Rudraksa with Navaratna, and she has two exalted planets.

Best gem talisman for you would be a flawless green gem, like tasvorite or

emerald, set

together with two diamonds on each side. Too cool.

You're running Rahu period until age 67. They say, "Sanivat Rahu" Rahu acts like

Saturn, in

your chart Saturn is a benefic, and in the good 11th (fame) and owner of the

good 5th

(enterprise, children). Plus Saturn is very weak by rasi. So it is a humbling

but stable time

of life, that is an influental time when your name could get well know for

"mystical"

matters. Please take advantage of your good Rahu period to learn more about

dharma,

such as jyotish and planetary gemology.

Best Rgds,

Richard

dear richardji: you've given me much to ponder, all so different

from my astrological experiences thus far...thinking i was a scorpio

with no earth in my chart, and now, voila, i have an earth rising

sign. very interesting. "a humbling but stable time" how do you

interpret this? sounds very serious to this diva!

one of my favorite stones of all is tourmaline in all colors. would

it be a good choice for the green stone you mentioned in a ring? my

father years ago gave me a beautiful emerald green jade and diamond

ring, a large jade cabochon surrounded by diamonds. you inspire me

to wear it more often. thank you!

i appreciate very much your sharing your knowledge so generously.
