DEAR SRIMAN BIPIN BHAI SAAB,

I HAVE ANSWERED SOME OF YOUR QUESTIONS BEFORE WITH OTHER PEOPLE. BUT I'LL

RECAP IN BRIEF BELOW:

> I read your very informative article and it makes sense amplifying

> the vibration of the correct planets.

---"CORRECT PLANET" MEANING "ANUKUL GRAHA" FOR THE CHART

>

> Now a question on Navaratna... Do you set your stones in Navaratna

> to touch the skin or for that matter, on all other pieces - ive read

> this as being of importance.

---THE LOGIC IS LIKE THIS: IF THE STONE MUST TOUCH ON THE SKIN, THEN IT'S THE

CASE

THAT THE STONE MUST ALSO TOUCH ON THE PLANET. IT'S THE SAME LOGIC. SO THAT

LEAVES US HANGING IN OUTER SPACE TOUCHING THE TOP OF OUR GEM TO THE PLANET

SO THAT THE BOTTOM OF THE GEM TOUCHES OUR SKIN. PRETTY SILLY!!! NEVER THE LESS,

SOME GEMS ARE EASY TO SET TOUCHING THE SKIN AND SOME ARE TOO FLAT. BUT

ALWAYS THE BACK SHOULD BE OPEN.

>

> My confusion re Navaratna is that by glorifying all the planets, do

> we not glorify the malefic planets as well. Do you perhaps change

> the weighting of Benefics to be higher than malefics in Navaratna.

---ACTUALLY NAVARATNA IS NOT FOR EVERYONE. I MYSELF CANNOT WEAR A

NAVARATNA BECAUSE OF MY SATURN. SHASTRA HAS RECOMMENDED NAVARATNA FOR A

KING, BUT NORMAL PERSON CAN WEAR IS THEY HAVE NO SERIOUS CHART DEFECTS.

>

---THERE IS ONLY GRIEF CAUSED BY WEARING ANY GEM, HOWEVER GOOD, FOR A BADLY

PLACED (PRATIKUL) PLANET, ESPECIALLY BAD SATURN OR MARS. THE PRESCRIPTION GIVEN

IN "GRAHA GOCHAR JYOTISH" FOR BAD PLANETS IS CALLED "RATNA-ARPANA" OR

DONATING THE FINE GEM FOR A BAD PLANET. LIKE GIVING A GOMEDA TO A LEPER TO

PACIFY RAHU. BUT EVEN GRAHA GOCHAR JYOTISH IS ABOUT AS MUCH SHASTRA AS MY

OWN BOOKS BECAUSE THESE ARE NOT SHASTRA. SHASTRA IS VEDA-UPANISHAD-BRAHMA-

SUTRA-ITIHAS-PURAN, AND IN THESE REAL SHASTRA THERE IS NO MENTION OF WEIGHT

OF GEMS. IT''S ALL MODERN MAN-MADE CONCOCTION. SHATRA ONLY TALKS ABOUT

CLARITY AND QUALITY, NOTHING ABOUT GEM WEIGHT NOR TOUCHING ON THE SKIN. BUT

IF YOU TAKE MODERN BOOKS AS "SHASTRA" THEN I HAVE WRITTEN A LOT OF "SHASTRA"

BY MYSELF.

HOPE THIS HELPS...

WARM RGDS,

RICHARD
