Guest guest
A couple years ago someone encouraged me to do 100 Chandi homas. I had attended a few at a temple but never did any by myself nor do I read sanskrit. I took the encouragement to heart. I collected materials, books, CDs, plus questions and contacted Swamiji. He said go ahead. That was over two years ago. The first homa took six hours. My legs, back, eyes and almost every part of my body was sore. But, I made it. Then I did a second one, and a third, etc. Finally I completed 108. Now I'm well into the second set of 108. For anyone who thinks they can't do it I'm living proof it can be done. Now it takes me about three and a half hours from start to finish, cover-to-cover, including starting the fire and the introductory puja. It can be done. I would like to encourage anyone to begin. For me, staying in the moment was the biggest help. Don't judge what you're doing. Just do it. Seek Swamiji's advice and encouragement. ------------------------ Sponsor --------------------~--> Join modern day disciples reach the disfigured and poor with hope and healing http://us.click./lMct6A/Vp3LAA/i1hLAA/XUWolB/TM --~-> <*> / <*> <*> Your

Guest guest
You're so welcome. I wrote to Swamiji I was posting to the group. He told me he felt my letter would help encourage people. I'm glad to see it has. It is very possible to do this while maintiaining a regular job and a marriage, etc. My wife is always supportive which is a great blessing. , neelima agrawal <neelima_agr wrote: > > Thank you !!!
