Guest guest
No. But, that doesn't mean it's a good idea to practice any set of bija sounds. My question is whether this is an authentic mantra. Guest guest
I am more familiar with Vajrayogini which is one of the tantric deity. This needs initiations to be able to pracitce her. A highest level of practitioner can gain elightenment within one life's time. On the medium levels, withing 7 lives time and on the lower levels, those who just keep commitments can gain liberations within 14 lives time. Guest guest
Yes she is. Hindu tantra is about joining male and female energy. We seek to join these energies within ourselves. Kali is Shiva's energy. Shiva is Kali's awareness. Kalachakra is Shiva and Kali together. When Shiva and Shakti come together, there is great power, liberation and freedom from death. Guest guest
I wish to share my view in this matter. Love is the onliest thing that Almighty is crazy about. If your heart is full of love for any form of him (it could be Kaali, Krishna, Shiva, Laxmi, Saraswati, Ganesha, or even Allah, God, Jihova...) and if you are honest in whatever you do, - you would not need a Guru to reach his doorstep. Debate would never end, - and you will never reach your destination if you indulge yourself in trying to find a safe path. Follow the light of your mind, - listen to your heart, - the Holy Mother Mahamaya will hold your hand to take you to her kingdom. Mantra, - Tantra are just to please her, - and she loves to be loved! Trust me. You will feel her presence beside you, - you will be ever safeguarded by her four hands. But if you are crazy like me - to get Darshan of her, - yes that time only you should seek a real Guru who, in reality is very very rare to find. Till then, - just love her as someone very close to you, - treat her as your mother or your daughter or friend or even your fiance! Spread out the love you receive in return! Don't worry, - you might not feel her even now, - she always looks after you! Kaali is a never ending ocean of wisdom, - we are dolls of salt, - we often melt down when we enter into that sea to measure it! Love her and love her children. You will find what you are looking for. This is so funny that where supreme powers like Lord Brahma, Vishnu and even Shiva do not properly know how to worship Devi Kaali, - we humans offer two Belpatta and Jaba and chaunt some "Aung,- Bong, Chong" and feel that it is enough to satisfy her. We are actually foolest of all fools! indulge yourself in everything that is good for not only you, - but for mankind, - be honest, leave your greed, keep truth always beside you, - and then pour the entire love that could be extracted from your heart on Kaali-s feet! I guarantee, - you too will see ( and perhaps will do) miracles! Best wishes, Anirban De --- thehealingdrum <thehealingdrum > wrote: > Forgive me, I thought you were asking a question > because you didn't know the answer. Guest guest
Tara, I have a question for you. How did the first Guru become a Guru? Who gave him inititation? meditate on this.... Tara, Your heart is in the right place. I know you want to help. You are correct that it is best to learn from a Guru. I have learned from Gurus in a few disciplines. But Gurus are not perfect. they are humans also. I know this from experience. Many Gurus say to their devotees that they cannot do anything without initiation. Well, I have seen that some Gurus use initiation and shaktipat as a way to control and manipulate and take advantage of their students. I have seen gurus with miraculous powers use them to seduce their devotees and have sex with them. I decided that only God was going to be my Guru. And if God cannot guide me, then no human can either. Your Guru may be a divine being, I can't say. You are very lucky to have one! But, should I stop searching because I do not have a Guru? A very holy man once said, "Seek and you shall find." I am seeking. This isn't to say that I don't respect teachers with more expereince than I have. I do. that is why I posted my question, because I want to learn. In terms of Kali, there are no gurus in my area. I live in a small city in the U. S.A. and there are no tantric gurus at all. In fact, I have been teaching the tantra that I learned from my Yoga teacher who was a Sikh and a Yoga master. I know I am not a master Guru, but should I stop teaching what I know to those who are hungry for Kali Ma? What a tragedy that would be. Like you, I am attracted to Kali Ma. But, if I listened to you and stopped seeking to find a mantra that best suits me without a Guru, I would have to give up entirely and not worship her. I don't think that is what you are suggesting. What you may not see is that I was seeking instruction on a mantra that I had found and felt strongly attracted to. I believe it is very important to chant mantras correctly and that it can be harmful if done improperly. So, you can see I was being very responsible in my attempts to learn about this mantra. I am going to be very honest with you. but it is out of love... I don't believe you responded to my question with love and humility. It is wonderful that you have a guru who taught you a mantra that may relieve your karma in 7 lifetimes. But you sounded proud and superior. that is not the way of a true disciple. And just because you end a post with "please advise" does not take away the pride and persecution I felt coming from you. blessings, Mike Kali_Ma, norguma tara <tara_norguma wrote: > > I am just sharing with what I had learnt and I am not qualified to teach but I have a qualified teacher , who > I honour and trust that he is a living holy beings to me. Guest guest
Tara, I am very happy for you. And I support your enthusiasm for your Guru. I have no doubt he is what you need to learn and grow. But, Is your guru the only guru? Is your way the only way? Is your way my way??? You did not offer an answer to my question and instead offered only criticism of me. I am not attacking you or your chosen path. I have no doubt you are on the right path for you. And while it is wonderful to be confident in your own path, it is not helpful to others to criticize their paths. You criticized my honest seeking and didn't offer any solution. How is that helpful to me? If you are truly a disciple of the Buddha, your goal is also to be helpful to others. It is difficult to do this when one feels their path is superior to others. You may not feel this way. But I definitely feel attacked and criticized by you. I also felt you thought yourself superior to me. That was not helpful to me either. Tolerance, patience, love and understanding is also what the Buddha taught. I'm sure you have these qualities, but I did not feel them from you based on your responses to my post. that is my point. It is important to know how others percieve you. this is also spiritual.... Guest guest
Dear friend, May I apologise to you if my words have brought you any forms of insultations I dont mean it that way. However, I am sharing with you what I know in general and please understand that I am not criticizing you at any point. I am in no position to judge you or in the position to teach you. Plz plz dont get offended by those words.. My guru, of course , is not the only guru. You have your liberty to choose your own guru. May I remind you that once you have chosen your guru, he will be always be your guru even you disliked him later. With Love, Tara thehealingdrum <thehealingdrum > wrote: Tara, I am very happy for you. And I support your enthusiasm for your Guru. I have no doubt he is what you need to learn and grow.
