about yantras

While yantras are cool symbols, it's a mistake to think they do anything without

following the tantras that give rise to them. Which is to say the mantras,

pujas, etc.... They are talismans and have as much effect as what went into

them. They are not the same thing as Rudraksha, Narmadeshwar Lingas, Shree

Shaligrama, Hatha Jodi, etc... These items are self installed deities. Yantras

must be installed. Crystal Meru or 3d Shree Yantras are the middle ground

between this installed and must be installed form of deity. I still recommend

Siva Linga with Yoni as the ultimate glyph for meditation, good energy, and

puja. All deities can be worshipped with the linga, as it is a pointer to the

most auspicious.
