If I do not want to communicate with it I just don't pick up a pen and attempt to. I thank you for your advice. If needed I will buy the rudrakshas but for now I think I will stick to doing a round of mala of "om namah shivaye" and "om dum durgaye namah" as kanti suggested. I suppose I should also do a round with the hanuman mantra you gave. Your advice is greatly appreciated. As far as it being personal..yes it is but I think most of yo uare trustworthy people and I don;t have to worry about anything more. All of the advice means a lot to me as there is no one in my immediate surroundings that I can consult about this. If getting rid of the rudrakshas means that I will also get rid of this spirit I may just do that if indeed it turns out to be harmful. That would be against the will of the individual, anyway. Lord Shiva, or a representative of Shiva, does not need to "dangle goddies" like that. Shiva or any aspect of the Infinite Spirit expresses LOVE and that is given freely, there are no demands of us, to receive this Divine Love. DO have full faith in Shiva, if that is your chosen form of God/dess, and emerse yourself in your chosen/given mantra(s). Let the name of your chosen, dance on your tongue and in your heart. And offer your sincere love and devotion to Shiva. Please take the advice of these great people on this group. Lord Shiva has blessed us with the wisdom of these people with their expierences and knowledge. Been unwell for a while but back now with some zest. So here I am, with a question: Have you ever tried requesting this 'entity' to tell you your parents' names and dates of birth? If you happen to have received diksha from a guru or have a special mantra or sacred words of power that only you or a family member knows, ask this 'entity' to tell you your "Guru Mantra" or "Sacred Words". See if "it" can answer these. The messages from this manifested entity seem continuously repetitious in the sense that it says you will complete your PhD and marry on such and such a date. It sounds like a "bhuta" (to me at least) in the guise of Lord Shiva. Though I may jolly well be wrong. As DharmaDev Arya says, I suspect there may be a high price to pay later although the "price" obviously hasn't yet been 'set' by the 'entity'. May the "True Lord" guide you.
