Omkaaro me mukham paatu naakarah karnadeshake

makaaraha paatu shirasi shikaaro krdaye mama

 

May the letter Om protect me in the face

The letter Na in the area of the ears.

May the letter Ma protect the crown of the head,

while the letter Si will protect in my heart.

 

Vaakaaronetrayugme ca yakaaro baahu yugmaka

akaarastu mukhe paatu ukaaro hrdaye mama

 

And the letter Va in the two eyes,

while the letter Ya will protect in the two arms.

Let the letter A protect in the face,

while the letter U in my heart.

 

Makaaraha prsthadeshe ca pancharnaha paatu sarvataha

 

May the letter M protect on the back side, and the

five letters protect all over.
