Dear Srikanthji

Namaskar My Friend

Yes of course the Rudraksa Beads can touch each other

When placed face to face and rear part to rear part in pairs the natural effects

are enhanced

Thanks and Take Care

Can beads touch each other?

Namaste

Can the beads on a mala touch each other? If the answer is no, then what

are the effects in the energies?

Thanks and rgds

To Dharma Dev Aryaji, My Illustrious Collegue and Seva Mitra :-)

I thought I had learned that the beads are not suppose to physically touch,

even when strung head to head and rear to rear and that a spacer of some

sort..be it a precious metal, gem, thread or of wool is used to enhance

electro magnetic current and to protect the beads from wear and tear that

over time could end up as chipping or other such surface damage of bead.

I thought that's what I learned.

(Thought Being of Light that Taught Me was YOU ! )

or was I just falling asleep in class again ??? :-)

Hey Somaji...

If you are still wondering about heads and tails, give me a call.

(Not tonite as Monday is Choir Practice) :-)

Dear Miss

Yes thought there might be a question about this after I sent the message to the

group site

>From what I remember the question that was asked was mostly limited to.... can

beads touch each other so answer was limited to yes of course they can

To go further with this can also add.......... there is sometimes a distinction

between stringing designs of wearing Malas that are in motion most of the day

because they need spacers and knots to buffer any abraiding action between beads

and then the

Meditation Malas that are carefully handled and sit on body for extended

timeframes without moveing

Have found the most enhanced circuit is pairs of the Beads in direct physical

contact with one another so this is the way I wear my Meditation Malas. Is a

personal choice that works for me however have also worn the MahaMrityunjaya

Kantha with sphatik spacers and red wool spacers on same Mala and have found

great effects with this stringing design also

Malas worn for Meditation only are easily strung touching each other because

there is little abraiding action to damage the beads

Thanks and Take Care My Friend

Thanks ever so much for clarifying this, Devaji.

Now you have given me lots of ideas next time I make a head mala :-)

Totally makes sense.

Take care.
