Guest guest
Dear Listmembers, Namaskar! During Puja this morning I brushed against Shree MahaLaxsmi Yantra whereupon it fell to the floor. What measures should I take because of dropping the Yantra? I simply do not want to show any form of disrespect by just placing it back on the alter without proper respect being shown. Sincerly, Joseph Rippy
Guest guest
Wipe it off, Kiss it, touch it to the forehead, replace it, and then bow to it. The same thing you would do if you knocked your grandmother off a stool. - jrip_37923 Tuesday, March 11, 2003 12:02 PM Accident with Yantra Dear Listmembers, Namaskar! Guest guest
Dear Kantiji, I made the head mala with 1 Mukhi in the center and placed the nine, 9 mukhi beads in two pairs on each side of the head with the ninth 9 mukhi at the rear of the mala. I, however felt that I wanted to have the 1 Mukhi Rudraksha with me all the time so it became part of a mala containing 1 through 14 Mukhi including a newly acquired 9 mukhi I asked Ms. Neeta for, plus Ganesha Bead and GauriShankar totaling 28 Rudraksha in total. I tried wearing the nine 9 mukhi as a braclet but found that my activities placed them in harm's way. I was afraid that I would inadvertently hit them on something being left- handed. I therefore placed the nine 9 Mukhi beads at the alter along with other Rudraksha. I have now begun sitting quietly and looking at the various beads. I feel the 9 mukhi give a sense of security to say the least to myself and the the atmosphere. I feel Goddess Durga truly does protect not only me but the entire family. Having Goddess Durga both with me on the mala and at the alter gives completeness that I felt was needed early on. And you are so right in how beautiful those beads are. Thank you for selecting such wonderful beads. But now I have to say the same about all he Rudraksha.
