Guest guest
Hi Ryan: Congratulations on becoming a distributor !! Actually I haven't had any problems with people touching my malas. They are suppose to make contact with the skin and are under clothing. Maybe it has to do with all the years I lived in New York City, an inborn sense of protecting territory is developed quite readily :-) ...(or else its my connection with Goddess Durga) What you might want to do is get a simple mala to be your sample mala :-) Acquire a nice punch mukhi mala for people to touch or one of those nice large 5 mukhi.. simply bless it and oil it after its done its job. A large 5 mukhi can be put in a small pouch and easily slipped into a pocket if this is happening when you are not home.. I have discovered something very interesting about the whole syndrome of feeling you are on a "mission from God" in talking about the rudraksha.... If someone you know or meet is connected to the rudraksha you can't stop talking about them. If they don't have the contact, there is this huge effort to say anything. It is truly amazing. You talking about them is simply furthering the process of waking up some subtle memory within the person of the rudraksha. It has been quite astounding for me to watch this. My closests friends all have purchased rudraksha and have a huge bond. Others, people who I knew in my former line of work just don't "get it". I have a customer who is a Practioner of Tibetan Buddhist Dharma who has consistantly asked me for recommendations for family members and then has me make wrist malas for them..these aren't little dainty pieces..these have lots of big beads on them...men as well as women. One is a fireman. They all love the rudraksha...so apparent that there is this past life bond with this family. So please, don't stifle yourself. As Babaji said, follow your heart and follow your own connection with the rudraksha you'll be led to the people that are suppose to know about the beads and when you are around people who aren't, it will be as if your own mala is invisible. Have fun ! Guest guest
The rudraksha have very powerful electromagnetic properties to them that causese them to bond with the person wearing them. We carry their essence and they carry ours. One would not want to be walking around "with others' sins" :-) Have found even with people who have healing energy in their hands is not a good idea to have them touch beads because their energy will then be a part of the energy of the rudraksha,,simply creates an energetic obstacle to the intention of the flow between one person and one bead or mala. Guest guest
Dear Dharma Devaji: That is a perfect idea you have with placing the gems on the rudraksha or around the rudraksha. Have found with the Divinity Collection the gems and the rudraksha support and amplify each other. In the example you mention, Rudra Center sells the Vedic gems at a very reasonable price. Purchasing a ruby to use in that manner would not be expensive at all. I used garnet as a substitute on Lord Surya mala. Have recently found a reasonable source for ruby beads. Have also noticed that the rudraksha seem to have nice time living with all sorts of gems. Have many with quatz crystal and rose quartz and they are readibly available in all price ranges. Guest guest
Namaste No one should touch your beads - but they do!!! their hands reach out and touch them before you known what is happening - By the time your mind is ready to say don't touch them please, they have been touched - This is life in full bloom - If it is stated that something should not happen - it will happen - So the trick is to deal with it with the least amount of stress to the other person and to yourself - People are drawn to touch them and there is no way around it As for the cracks - I remember several of my beloved beads loosing minor parts of themselves and my mind screaming "Oh god no not my bead" - every time I touch these beads my mind plays out the horrible event in vivid detail (LOL)- my fingers touch the spots of this great tragidy - the mind is such a piece of crap - it will drive you crazy - there is no end to it's treachery - the problem is with the mind not the beads - the mind is your creation - you are no it's creation - do not listen to it - listen to your heart of hearts, your inner most self and all will go well Love baba on namah sivaaya , "thestar777" <thestar777> wrote: > Dear Friends: > > I have many questions. > > Since I've begun wearing Rudraksha I am enamored with their > beneficial influences. Guest guest
Dear Ryanji Namaskar and thanks for shareing your experiences with all of us The Holy Rudraksa are sometimes passed from generation to generation in India so takeing this as a prime example if the Beads are kept oiled they will last as long as they are cared for Keep different Malas here for different types of wearing Have Malas for wearing in public on the outside of clothes and people react to these Malas so they are kept for this purpose. Easiest way found to balance the Rudraksa after public wearing is to sit with them through one round of the Rudraksa Pujan and Dharan CD. Then can also learn to chant the Rudraksa Pujan and Dharan makeing it a lot easier to perform this Blessing anywhere Personal Malas worn on the skin under the clotheing normally stay out of sight and the touch of others Personal Japa Malas are also kept privately Had a discussion with a Friend the other day that gave the idea of placeing small Vedic Gems on the surface of the Holy Rudraksa and was wondering if anyone else had heard of this idea For example 12 Mukhi Surya Rudraksa is the center of Brilliancy, Lustre, Radiance and Strength of the Sun.......and the Gemstone Ruby represents the Sun Simply visualizeing the placement of many tiny rubies on the surface of a 12 Mukhi Rudraksa presents a most beautiful picture. Once they ask me about it, I go on and on about the wonders of the bead and feel like a rudraksha missionary. This feels somewhat counter to the idea of letting the beads find their home in people's hearts on their own. Does anyone else get over zealous after finding someone interested in the beads, or is it just me? Back to the cracks in beads. When I first got them I was a little concerned about seeing cracks around the mouths of the beads. When I read something that said, "There should be no cracks in the beads, especially around the mouth" I took it very seriously. Now I understand that they are natural and not harming any effects of the beads on my being. My last question on the cracks...has anyone had any experiences where the beads just fell apart off the mala? I read that well taken care of these beads can last a thousand years or so. I wish to take good care of my beads. Cracks are fine, but I've not had a long experience with the beads to know if cracks frequently develop through the beads enough to cause them to break. Guest guest
I saw a set of rudraksha which belonged to a Buddhist friend which were maybe five hundred years old and looked like black petrified rock. They had turned to stone over half a thousand years of wearing and being passed down. - ShiningLotus Wednesday, March 26, 2003 11:16 AM Re: Many questions about Rudraksha Life Dear Ryanji Namaskar and thanks for shareing your experiences with all of us The Holy Rudraksa are sometimes passed from generation to generation in India so takeing this as a prime example if the Beads are kept oiled they will last as long as they are cared for Keep different Malas here for different types of wearing Have Malas for wearing in public on the outside of clothes and people react to these Malas so they are kept for this purpose. Guest guest
I agree. I think that if people touch them, they need their pure energies. I don't try to stop people from touching mine. It's something I can share with people. I wouldn't LEND mine for ewearing, however.
