Dear Friends:

If you've ever been concerned about small cracks in your beads, I've

got some good news, which may put your minds to rest. Of course you

are welcome to worry if you feel you need it. ; )

My friend, Dr. Mike Beck the plant physiologist, who is helping me

discover how to grow rudraksha trees has sawed a few in half to learn

where the embryo is. (if your curious, in the three mukhi--it's right

smack in the middle) He has told me they are as hard as rocks. So

don't fret if your bead gets a crack. These are tough little beads!

Best Wishes,

Ryan-

Oh, cool! Then, the seeds DID get to him! I sent them prioriy

primarily because I think the good old USPS loses fewer of those

bright blue and red things. <g>

RIGHT in the middle of the bead is EXACTLY where DD opined that the

embryo might be. (DD, there are no stringing holes in the 3s that I

sent to Mike)

Ryan, you GOTTA keep us current with Mike's experiments! It's SO

fascinating!

I wore my beads 24/7 for at least three months, after Kantiji Told us

a story about trying to smash some with a hammer, to make powder for

medicine. She won, but the beads put up QUITE a battle. <g>

I will keep you updated.

He is currently trying three different methods. We will be getting

some other five facet seeds to try.

Thank you for sending them...it is greatly appreciated.
