Dear friends,

Could any one enlighten our group as to

why Rudrakshas should be removed whilst bowel

movements and during physical intimacy?

Are these not part of our normal bodily functions ,as

are breathing and eating!

I know some books say that they can be worn all the

time but some books recommend that they should be

taken off during such activities.

Won`t the rudrakshas loose their "strength" if one

were to take them off daily ? Should the mantras be

recited again after wearing them, say for example after

bowel movements. can they be worn during sleep ?

I would be very grateful if any one of our learned

friends could clarify .

Namaste:

There has been extensive discussion of this topic and these posts are in our

Archives.

In the Subject Index in our Files Page.

Is listed under Rudraksha and taboos or Rudraksha and wearing restrictions.

There is quite a bit of information there that would take me a couple of

hours to retype :-)

Thank you.
