Guest guest
Yes, Barbara... regarding red coral, it is definitely compatible with Rudraksha in the way you wish to wear it, but because it is the primary astrological gemstone for Mars, I wouldn't recommend it universally. But, if it is indicated as a safe and helpful gem for you specifically, it would go well with your head mala for an energizing augmentation. Another good cooling and soothing one that is universally recommended is rose quartz. An especially powerful addition for meditation would be Moldavite. For a more grounding effect you could use hematite or magnetite beads. best wishes, alan >"Barbara J. Guest guest
Dear Alan, Thanks for the message. The 14 mukhi Rudraksah arrived today. I hope to wear it first on May 8th, and I will check the bead store here tomorrow and see what they have. I have some beads now, and rose quartz sounds nice to me. Thanks. Guest guest
Thanks Alan, I hope to wear it tomorrow, May 8th, 2003 as the first day. I told my daughter that I would not be speaking to her on that day, that I wouldn't be mad at her, but that it is a day of silence. She said,"You sure do some strange things." Then she said, "Could you ask them for me if they could perhaps extend that for a whole week"! Guest guest
Hello Thunderheals, I chose mother-of-pearl, clear quartz, and colour-enhanced pink quartz to go with a head band for the 14-mukhi Rudraksa. I used a few 5-sided Rudraksa too, and they are threaded on gold-filled wire. Thanks for your advice. I may change this later. Barbara. - thunderheals Tuesday, May 06, 2003 1:58 PM Re: Shiva Linga/ 14 mukhi Hi. What one chooses for one's own mala is really a matter of personal preference mostly. From what you have shared, I personally would not choose carnelion to wear for a head mala. It is mostly a fiery stone.. works best with Lord Agni 3 mukhi ..Your other choices sound perfect :-) There are tons of Gem healing websites on the net that give the qualities of different stones and chakras they interact with. Also really great book called "Love is In the Earth" by Melodie. Virtual encyclopedia of gem healing. Don't have any web addresses to give. Didn't book mark any. Guest guest
Dear Alan, I believe I have a large white quartz bead threaded on another necklace with one rudraksah. I may take that off and put it on my forehead necklace with the 14-mukhi rudraksa. I have some nice honey amber (yellow amber) also. Would that be appropriate. Thanks.
