Guest guest
Namaste Jintuji: Greetings from Rudra Center Heartland: The mantras you are speaking about really aren't purification. They are a blessing ceremony and assist in releasing the power of the bead. Such blessing ceremony is done here in he States and in India prior to shipping a bead or mala out to a customer so is really not necessary for a person to repeat the process, however I am sure it will help to deepen the bond that is established between the wearer and the rudraksha. We are often confronted with ceremony and ritual vs. sensibility and comfort in many areas dealing with the rudraksha. As long as a person has a deep respect for the rudraksha even if they don't understand them totally that is a good start. Should you have purchased your 1 mukhi from a source that you are unsure whether it has been blessed, please know that the beads are considered Divine..so it would make sense to me that you would feel the effects from a bead whether it was blessed or not. Blessings assist in the bead holding the sanctity and empowerment of mantras and in turn blesses the wearer as they start their journey of empowerment that each rudraksha bead or mala brings. Hope this makes sense.
