Guest guest
Dear Freinds Also was reading this in the Gems and Rudraksa Book For the worship and rituals of almost all the Gods and Goddesses the Jaap or frequent Chanting of some Mantras is compulsory with a definite number according to each of the Gods and the Goddess for the fulfillment of desires. In this case the best means to count Mantra is by counting beads in Mala. By useing a Mala it tells us how many times we have counted the Mantra without haveing to maintain attention on the counting. In addition to this a subtle electric current is created in the mind by rubbing of the thumb with finger as we move from bead to bead. This electric current also influences the heart through Vagus Vein and makes mind concentrate deeply. It can be asked why there are 108 Beads in a full Japa Mala neither more or less ? According to Vedic Astrology there are 27 constellations in the universe and each constellation has four quadrants hence there are 27 x 4 = 108 quadrants in all. There are 9 Planets in Vedic Astrology and 12 Astrological Signs of the Zodiac again showing 9 Planets x 12 Astrological Signs = 108 total. Thus 108 has been considered the best number to join the Individual Consciousness with the Absolute Consciousness. There are many different kinds of Mala used in Spiritual and Meditational purposes Lotus Seed Mala ( Kamal Gatta Mala ) This Mala is used for the wroship of the Goddess Lakshmi for Jaap or to Chant Her Mantra. ther is special importance to Chant Her Mantra with Lotus Seed Mala. Mala can be strung on thread or strung on silver and capped with special silver Lotus Caps. Turmeric Mala is used to perforn Amustand ( special prayers ) and destroy enemies and succeed in law suits. If a person has fallen prey to Jaundice he should wear garland of 8 or 10 beads of Tumeric. Tulsi Mala and Kanti ( Neck Mala ) is regarded as the best for worshipping of Lord Visnu, Lord Rama and Lord Krisna. According to Ayurveda it is very useful in the throat disease. It is also used for the purification of the body. Conch Mala is used for special tantrik experiments and exercises Baijanti Mala is used by the devotees of Lord Visnu and for chanting Mantras to worship the Goddess Lakshmi Sphatik Crystal Mala is the best Mala for counting beads while chanting Devi Mantras. If it is worn the mind becomes pacified and quiet. The wearer becomes pacified and quite. Wearer becomes the most favorite of the Lord Siva. Rudraksa Mala is very much effective and is used in all kinds of rituals while worshipping Gods, Goddesses. Nine Planets. If any particular Mala is not available Rudraksa Mala can be used. Thus it is considered the best of all Malas. Navratna Mala is used to Pacify Nine Planets. There are Nine precious or semi precious stones corresponding to the Nine Planets in it. It gives mental peace when it is worn Thanks and Take Care My Freinds DharmaDev
