Guest guest
Hello everyone! I have just ordered my first mala based on the recommendations made by Shining Lotus. I should start by saying that the concepts I've been reading are extremely new to me so I hope you don't mind answering my questions and that they won't be too silly I've found myself literally drawn to this site and malas without even knowing why or how this information can be used to assist me with some chronic health issues. I placed an order last night for a mala (I hope I'm using the right terms) that has 54 beads. 1) When I receive this item, how do I use it? I've read messages where people just wear the mala but I also wanted to use it when I meditate or when saying my mantra but I don't know how. 2) May I use this as a necklace and for counting when I say my mantra? 3) When I receive it, is there any sort of ritual prescribed before I put it on? 4) Do I wear it all of the time, even when I retire? shower? 5) Are there things that, if I perform them incorrectly, could harm the mala's spiritual properties? 6) And very important to me, can the mala ever retain negative properties either thru misuse or through a negative environment? I'll keep reviewing messages on this board and the information on the website. Thank you for your patience Valerie
Guest guest
Dear Valerieji Namaskar My Friend and thank you for your message Malas are used in many different ways so hopefully we will have more than a few group members sending answers to you questions 1. Easiest method is to wear directly on skin once each and every day for a certain amount of time for the first 40 days. At night you can place on night stand at head of bed close to your head while sleeping if you like. Is good repeat Mantra Aum Namah Shivaya at least once when placeing on neck and then also when takeing off neck. The more you wear the more your Neurophysiology Balances 2. Yes of course you can use for both however is a little easier if you have an inexpensive 10mm Rudraksa Japa Mala specifically for Chanting. Then at same time of Chanting you will still be able to enjoy the effects of the Larger Rudraksa Beads laying on your body in your wearing Mala 3. Yes. Initially your Mala is Blessed and Energized by Hindu Priest in Nagpur before being shipped so is ready to wear with the Chanting of the Mantra Aum Namah Shivaya. Rituals before wearing can be as easy and Beautiful as Chanting Mantra or as complicated and intense as a person wishes. As each of us proceed on our Path we learn more and are attracted to more complicated Sadhanas or Disciplines. We continue to recieve the Blessings of Lord Siva at each step on our Path as we Accelerate to our Destiny 4.There are only a couple of general precautions. We dont wear in shower or bath and reason is because soap products can dry out the Rudraska Beads. At night we can place by head of bead so is close to our head. If there is need to wear at night a special choker design can be made of Rudraksa and Sphatik Crystal Beads so it does not tangle at night. We dont wear when we have relations with spouse and this is only common sense because again the Beads can tangle and the energies at this time are normally quite explosive. We dont wear to funeral grounds simply because the Beads are balanced to our positive Neurophysiology and we need to keep them in this Happy Balance 5. There is nothing anyone can do to harm the Spiritual Properties of the Holy Rudraksa as they are the Tears of Lord Siva representing the Energies of the Devas and Devis. The Holy Rudraksa by their nature are independent of any kind of negative effects 6. No the Rudraksa never retain or store negative energy. Rudraska process and destroy negative energy. They are Negative Energy Busters so to speak. The 9 Mukhi Goddess Durga and the 11 Mukhi Lord Hanuman recommended especially for Healers to protect them from negative energy that can attach to unprotected Healer when released from clients Hope this helps My Friend Thanks and Take Care DharmaDev valeriecronin <valcronin <> Saturday, May 31, 2003 12:32 PM RBSC : I have some questions Hello everyone! Guest guest
Dear Valerieji Forgot a part of one of your questions so Sorry about that Easiest process in Meditation is to simply wear as you Meditate While wearing..............During your Meditation or after............ if you would like to add the silent or verbal chanting of the Mantras for the different Mukhi Beads you are wearing this would be fine Thanks and Take Care Mitra DharmaDev valeriecronin <valcronin <> Saturday, May 31, 2003 12:32 PM RBSC : I have some questions Hello everyone!
