It could be that the fever is an indication of an ailment being flushed or purged from your system but there is really no way to tell. Could even be a karmic situation. Is best to go with one's own intuition, not approaching the matter with an attitiude of fear and do what feels best. Rudraksha in and of themselves are firey and the are a few people who have difficulty wearing them..at least for long periods. Have never heard of people getting fever. Have heard of folks getting mild rashes which were alliviated by alternating spahtik mala with rudraksha.
