Guest guest
Dear Friends: My botanist friend is still working on trying to grow a Rudraksha tree from seeds. We have about 65 extra dried fruits that we don't want to ruin in case the experiment doesn't work. So I'm selling them to anyone who may be interested in peeling the fruits themselves to find the Rudraksha inside. If you are interested. I posted them on Ebay. You can find the listing here. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2641495387 If you have any questions about them, feel free to email and ask me at ascendwv. Best Wishes, Ryan-

Guest guest
Currently they are listed as $20.00 plus 5 dollars shipping. No one has bid on them yet. The sizes seem to range from 12-15 mm. Aside from the ones that were planted I peeled a few of them for fun. They are very pretty after cleaned and oiled. The 3 mukhis are of indian origin and the 5's are nepalese. Guest guest
Dear Star777, I ordered some rudraksa seeds to grow from a supplier/nursery in India. His name is Mr. Gautam and his web address is www.gautamglobal.com; email: treeeseeds. They sell bilva seeds and other trees and seeds too. These are the directions which he gave me for growing rudraksa seeds: Soak seeds in cold water for 24 - 72 hours. Grow in well-drained, loam based potting compost in full light. >From sspring to autumn, water freely and use a balanced liquid fertilizer monthly. Water sparingly in winter. Top dress or pot in early spring. Remove wayward or crossing shoots in witer or early spring when dormant to maintain permanent, healthy framework. Sometimes, ppruning is also done in late summer or early autumn to prevent bleeding of sap. Good luck, Barbara - thestar777 Tuesday, June 17, 2003 5:59 AM RBSC : Dried Rudraksha Fruit For Sale Dear Friends: My botanist friend is still working on trying to grow a Rudraksha tree from seeds. Guest guest
Dear Shining Lotus, He did not mention the time frame for the sprouting. I suggest you email him. Kirk bought a rudraksa tree and some other plants from him also. My seeds have not arrived yet, and so I have not tried it. Best of Luck. Guest guest
Dear Ashwini: I have posted the seeds on Ebay. This is an auction web site. I figured many people might want these and I didn't want to give preference to anyone person. So I put them on Ebay and let the highest bidder purchase them. This is the fairest way I knew how to do it. If you'd like to place a bid on them, you may find them at: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2641495387 Click on that link and it should take you to them.
