Dear Arjunaji:

There is a wonderful website which has the entire Valmiki Ramayana.

The Bala Atibala Mantropanishat is at the end of Skanda 22 in Devanagari

format.

You will need a software called Itrans in order to retreive it, but it can be

down loaded by going on to the home page of the site. It is well worth

getting.

Chapter 22 is at:

<A

HREF="http://www.valmikiramayan.net/bala/sarga22/balaitrans22.htm'>http://www.valmikiramayan.net/bala/sarga22/balaitrans22.htm">http://www.va\

lmikiramayan.net/bala/sarga22/balaitrans22.htm</A>

Home page is at:

<A HREF="http://www.valmikiramayan.net/">http://www.valmikiramayan.net/</A>

Towards the bottom of the page, click on underlined phrase "Devanagari and

Roman fonts" and you will get all instructions for free download.

Also I can post a transliteration and translation onto the Group site it

wanted.

Take care.

Kanti

Namste Kantiji,

Thanks again, I have been reading the text and installed the software for the

Devanagari. My wife and I recently purchased the 12 DVD set of the Ramayana

that was broadcast on Indian TV in the late 1980s. It is in Hindi with English

subtitles. Instead of the news we ar watching episodes from the Ramayana!

There are I think 84 total. It is most inspiring!

Dear Arjunaji:

That's great to have the Ramayana in that format !

By the Way..Regarding the Hanuman mantras...

Thomas Ashley Farrand has done some amazing research pertaining to the use of

certain Hanuman mantras in restoring and protecting the prana and life

force...

everything from curing illnesses, to protection from psychic attack, to the

effects that gossip have on life force.

These can be found in the books: "Healing Mantras" as well as "The Ancient

Power of Sanskrit Mantra & Ceremony Vol. 2" His website is at: <A

HREF="www.sanskritmantra.com">

www.sanskritmantra.com</A>

The entire book of "Healing Mantras" goes into the effects of mantra on

emotions and situations. The 2nd book goes into detail with more Hanuman chants

and

the nuances of traditional Mantra Spiritual Disciplines.

There is also a powerful little book called "Hanuman Puja" that has some

marvelous chants and practices. Although it doesn't say use the chants for this

or

that healing perse, I think anyone who is sensitive to energy healing can tap

into something with these. It is edited by Sw. Satyananda Saraswati and is on

amazon.com

Dharma Devaji and I worked for many months on a transliteration and

translation of the Bala Atibalamantropanishat and have happily received some

wonderful

feedback and input on these mantras from many scholars and priests.

Both have us have experienced discernible changes in our physical bodies.

I, for one have found it is not a practice I can stay with for long periods

of time.

Perhaps one is not suppose to. Perhaps I'm too dense :-)

Have fun !
