Guest guest
Dear Dharma Devaji: Yes, it will be really exciting to explore and chant the Mantropanishat with a group of people in such a powerful and exquisite setting..plus...the Persead Meteor shower will be going on the first nite of retreat and will be visible unless blocked by full moon ! I believe Nam Devaji will be exploring several mantras from the Ramayana during that time. By the Way..Regarding the Hanuman mantras... Thomas Ashley Farrand has done some amazing research pertaining to the use of certain Hanuman mantras in restoring and protecting the prana and life force... everything from curing illnesses, to protection from psychic attack, to the effects that gossip have on life force. These can be found in the books: "Healing Mantras" as well as "The Ancient Power of Sanskrit Mantra & Ceremony Vol. 2" His website is at: www.sanskritmantra.com The entire book of "Healing Mantras" goes into the effects of mantra on emotions and situations. The 2nd book goes into detail with more Hanuman chants and the nuances of traditional Mantra Spiritual Disciplines. There is also a powerful little book called "Hanuman Puja" that has some marvelous chants and practices. Although it doesn't say use the chants for this or that healing perse, I think anyone who is sensitive to energy healing can tap into something with these. It is edited by Sw. Satyananda Saraswati and is on amazon.com Dharma Devaji and I worked for many months on a transliteration and translation of the Bala Atibalamantropanishat and have happily received some wonderful feedback and input on these mantras from many scholars and priests. Both have us have experienced discernible changes in our physical bodies. I, for one have found it is not a practice I can stay with for long periods of time. Perhaps one is not suppose to. Perhaps I'm too dense :-) Have fun !
