I have also read that major pharamceutical companies such as Eli

Lilly, Squibb, and Merck. Are reseaerching a component of the beads

called eleocarpidine. It appears to have specific neurological

benefits. Also, in addition to the Indians, German, Autralian and

independant American researchers are looking into the health benefits

of the beads.

Personal experience has shown me that wearing the beads seems to

"even out the flow" of energy." My neuro rhythms used to range too

widely in highs and lows, and it waz uncomfortable and disruptive.

Now, I am more "even," and much, much happier. The beads also seem to

make my meditations deeper.

This is all veri interesting, too me, because I'm a health care

profesional with a special interest in neurology and brain

functioning.

BTW-- I am neither Indian, nor Hindu. However, I wear all of the

muktis from 1-13, mostly in multiples, every day. I bought one and

liked the benefits so much, I just kept buying.

BTW-- All of my beads are from Rudra Center, because I haven't found

any better anywhere else. There are never problems with fungi or bugs.

The beads come to me oiled and lightly scented with sandalwood.

Thanks! kari

By the way - in case any of you are looking for ways and means to purify and

support the wonderful energies in Rudraksha beads... if you are familiar

with the Agnihotra yagna (copper pyramid healing fire) as taught by The

Fivefold Path organization... this is an extremely powerful homa performed

at sunrise / sunset and aside from a huge energy vortex, it gives off a very

healing and energizing form of smoke. Fumigating the Rudraksha with this

smoke after the fire has burned out and also burying the beads or malas in

the collected cooled ash will totally energize and purify the already pure

and energetically potent beads. Same is true for purifying and clearing any

mala, gemstone, beads, metals or empowered objects....

regards,

alan
