Guest guest
Dear Elizabethji: Scriptural references state that 7 mukhi is good for the neurological system. I have found that in general, it is a wounderful all around healer. Perhaps a 7 mukhi mala would be of benefit 11 mukhi is also good. Have not done any work with ADD. In general, I have found that the astrological recommendations from Rudra Center are very good and act as a foundation of use. From there.. Sometimes, all that is needed is mulitple beads..more beads of what was recommended in birth chart. Found that with myself..keep wearing more of what has worked. Just have found that in general such conditions as ADD are karmic or are with us to teach us a lesson in life. That is all in the Birthchart. The rudraksha resonate at a higher level than these conditions and provide us with the self-empowerment that initiates healing. Use respect when using the Mercury. It has a "kick" to it. Some people are unable to work closely with it. Having it on a puja may be be all that is needed. Good Luck. Guest guest
Hello Members! I have been reading the recent discussion on the neurological benefits of rudraksha. I personally have ADD and purchased a 1-13 mala with multiples for that and a number of other issues. I have done a 40-day mantra/wearing sadhana without effect so far. Or rather, the beads seem to have heightened the ADD in the beginning, and gave sleep problems when wearing them. That has quieted down now but the ADD is far from improved even with the addition of wearing quartz. I read on the Rudraksha Centre site that one can boil a number 4 in milk, and drink the milk to ameliorate neurological conditions, and I am waiting for a Mercury muhurtha to do this. I am wondering if anyone has tried this interesting procedure, or if anyone has used the beads in any way successfully for ADD? Thank you! elizabeth SBC DSL - Now only $29.95 per month! Guest guest
I've not used them to treat neurological disorders. I went to a CranioSacral therapist for that. She worked on me for an hour, I paid her a $100.00 and then I had a headache like crazy for 4 days. My ADD was gone after that. How is your lifestyle? Is it conducive to peace of mind and health? Do you follow the yamas and niyamas prescribed in yoga? Are you able to meditate to superconsciousness everyday? Are you aware of your Ayurvedic mind/body constitution and how to live in harmony with it? If one of these things is missing I'd try to incorporate it. That has proven the best for me in my mental and physical well being. It took some habit changes on my part and I lost a few friends, but the benefits exceed the losses. I've noticed the fruit of wearing rudrakshas grew stronger in my life when I created fertile ground by living life of peace. When I create disharmony for myself by eating wrong foods, staying up to late or letting my mind get carried away by worry I have a harder time experiencing what the beads have to offer. Just a thought. Ryan- , shehoss <shehoss99> wrote: > > Hello Members! > > I have been reading the recent discussion on the neurological benefits of rudraksha. Guest guest
Hi Ryan! Thanks for this response. I've done a little craniosacral, but usually with a massage therapist who was incorporating it, not specializing in it. re: lifestyle, it's certainly not ideal, having the would-be rock star boyfriend. Mostly that affects my sleeping habits, as I don't drink, smoke, drug, etc. Wish I could have EVER meditated to superconscious. Alas, the ADD seems to have me staying at a low level of concentration. But I do keep trying. Will start the number 4 boiling on Wednesday. We'll see! thanks for your other experience posts too, Ryan. warm regards, elizabeth , "thestar777" <thestar777> wrote: > I've not used them to treat neurological disorders.
